Our crybaby hero is all set to return in season 3, which was announced at the end of season 2. It is said to adapt the Tenjiku arc, though we don't know how many episodes it will have. Based on the manga written by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers was one of the major hits of the last season. The season 3 was announced at the finale of season 2.

Season 2 Finale

SPOILER WARNING!!

Season 2 ended with the introduction of Izana Kurokawa and 300 of Tenjiku members now in Tokyo, wanting to crush Toman. Takmichi, Chifuyu, Akkun, Makoto and Yamagashi, who managed to escape once from them are now again cornered by them.

Kisaki, who is now a member of Tenjiku and supposedly the reason for Mikey becoming what he was in the last future, walks up to the beat up Takemichi and calls him "hero" in a very similar way that he did at the end of season 1.

Season 3 Announcement

The finale of season 2 marked the beginning of the biggest and final conflict in the history of TOMAN. Season 3 will be adapting the Tenjiku arc from the manga, which is the longest arc in the manga. Taking this in view, we can expect season 3 to have 24 episodes, like season 1, though it hasn't yet been revealed officially. Neither have we been given the information regarding the release date. But, seeing how gap between season 1 and 2 wasn't that long, we can expect season 3 to drop somewhere between the end of 2024 and starting of 2025.

So, are you excited for this new season? Let me know in the comments.
