Dr. STONE Season 3 Episode 1 Review | The EXHILARATING Adventures are Back!

 

So many great anime releasing this season, and among them another great anime is releasing its third season. Dr. STONE, which is one of the good anime (and my favorite adventure anime) is back with its third season. Before this season, a special episode was released, titled Dr. STONE: Ryusui, which you would have to check out before watching this season. 

The third season follows the aftermaths of the Stone Wars. Now that Tsukasa's team have joined Senku's team, together, with Captain Ryusui, they set out to the far side of the ocean to disclose more information about the origin of petrification beam.

Short Summary

The episode starts with Ryusui, Senku and Chrome returning to Ishigami village. After having befriended Ryusui, their next aim is to acquire a ship to travel across the sea.

But, even before that they need a good food. The Ishigami village is living off of mainly fish, and they need a change. Succesfully, they acquired wheat and meat. While Senku's team is finding the oil from sky, Taiju's gorilla team is farming and growing wheat. 

In the post credit scene, we see that Senku is not a good cook, as he can't bake a bread. So, the next companion that they want is a chef, and they set out to do so.

Personal Opinion

Dr. STONE is easily my one of the favs. With not much action, its still refreshing and interesting to watch (not to mention them ----- ). And, after the banger special that dropped nearly half an year ago, I was even more hyped for the season 3. And, finally its here. Spring 2023 will be one of my favorite season if more and more interesting anime drops like this. The theme was refreshing to hear once again. Overall, this episode was best of this week, behind only Konosuba.
