Then you have come to just the right place because in today's blog, I have brought 6 anime shows that are good to watch if you are a beginner.

1- Naruto (2002 - 2017)
Japanese name: Naruto
Genre: Shonen, Action, Ninja, Comedy

Rating (by admin): 8/10 (my whole Naruto was spoiled so I did not get that 'adrenaline rush' while watching but nonetheless enjoyed it)
Naruto can be regarded as the first step towards the world of anime. This anime was nearly everyone's first anime. While DB is in it's own league and more people watched it than Naruto but most new anime fans' first anime is indeed Naruto.
This anime is about an orphan, Naruto, who lost his parents not so long after his birth. He faces discrimination growing up in the village and made becoming the leader of the village, The Hokage, his main goal. On his journey to fulfil his dream he comes across many allies and foes and many great adventures.
2- Demon Slayer (2019 - present)
Japanese name: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Genre: Shonen, Demons, Action
No. of episodes: 26 + 18 + 1 movie (canon)

This anime was one of my earlier anime, maybe 3rd or 4th. This anime has a perfect combination of good characters, good music, good plot with a super quality animation.
This anime follows the story of a poor yet kind hearted boy, Kamado Tanjiro, who makes a living for him and his family by selling coals. One day demons annihilated his family, leaving only Tanjiro and his sister alive. After an encounter with what is called a Demon Slayer, he decided to become a one too while also finding a cure for his sister's "illness".
3- Death Note (2006)
Japanese name: Death Note
Genre: Mystery, Thriller, Horror
No. of episodes: 37
Rating (by admin): 8.1/10
Death Note is a great anime and easy to get hooked to. It is also one of the best anime out there. It's theme is somewhat dark and don't have an fight scenes but it's story is great.
It revolves around a teenager who accidently picked up the Death Note one day. The Death Note givess someone the power to kill anyone just by writing their name on the Death Note. The boy, Light Yagami, tries to make the world a better place by writing down every criminal's name. But is it really justice? The detective, L, finds out that someone is killing them and it's not a natural death. The story is about these two fighting each other.
4- HoriMiya (2021)
Genre: Highschool, Slice of Life, Romance, Comedy
No. of episodes: 13
Rating (by admin): 8.5/10
This is a somewhat newly aired anime, and despite this it became one of the best romance-comedy anime of 2021. I binged this in one day. It was so fun to watch this series.
This anime shows an unlikely pair of high schoolers, Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura. They did not talk in school but one day due to unexpected situations, they encounter one another and from there they started talking and hanging out. They realized how their school and real-life personalities differ.
5- One Punch Man (2015 - present)
Genre: Action, Comedy, Superpowers, Seinen
No. of episodes: 12 + 12
Rating (by admin): 8.9/10
This anime is, in my opinion, one of the best action anime. This was my 2nd anime and after this I just fell in love with anime. Saitama is an Unemployed man. One day he walks upon a crab looking monster on his way who is looking for a young boy to kill him. Saitama decides to save this young boy and ends up beating the monster with difficulty.
From then on Saitama decides to train and become a superhero. At the end of his training, he finds himself bald and also so strong that he can just about kill anyone with just one punch! He became hero for fun but due to his overwhelming strength, he ends up finishing his opponent in just one punch, This became a problem for him as he can no longer experience adrenaline rush while fighting an opponent.
6- Gurenn Lagann (2007)
Japanese name: Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagann
Genre: Mecha, Comedy, Action, Shonen
No. of episodes: 26
Rating (by admin): 8.5/10
This anime is one of the best mecha anime out there. It was on my bucket list for quite some time and I was ignoring it for a long time (a mistake). Believe me, it surpassed my expectations for a mecha anime. It's art style, character development, fights and feels it gives, everything is good.
Set in a distant future where humanity is forced to live underground due to fear of beast-like robots 'Beastmen". In one of those underground villages, lives two friends, Simon and Kamina. Kamina aims to go to the surface one day. But they were unaware of the harsh reality of the surface up above.
